Almost 200 Attend ECIDC's 28th Annual Banquet

Attendees celebrated ECIDC's 28th year of fostering regional economic development at the Annual Banquet held May 17, 2012, at the Keller Convention Center of Effingham. Click here to view pictures from the event.

The evening included a silent auction and raffle of a "Vegas Vacation Package for Two" valued at $1300.  Tiffany Macke of Marshall was the lucky raffle winner.

ECIDC member Ken Larimore was the raffle winner of the 2012 New Member Referral Program and received $250 cash for his efforts in recruiting new ECIDC members. 

Mark Bolander of Newton and Scott Kabbes of Effingham were honored for their exemplary business practices and social involvement with the BESI Awards. Tom Wright of Dieterich was honored with the Outstanding Leadership in Community and Economic Development Award and Pam Crisman of Effingham was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award. 

Guest speaker Jeff Fleming gave an entertaining and motivational keynote on the importance of laughter in the workplace.
