Sullivan Tax Increment Financing I, II, III

Program Description:
The City of Sullivan has three TIF Districts. Applications may be obtained from the Sullivan Chamber & Economic Development. A percentage of property tax gained from new investment is returned to the developer each year until maximum payout is reached or TIF expires. |
Sullivan Community Development Assistance Program

Program Description:
Businesses may borrow up to $15,000 per new job created at 4% fixed interest if they meet all of the state requirements for the loan. |
Sullivan TIF Loan
Type: Low Interest Loan
Administrator: First Mid-Illinois Bank & Trust, First National Bank & Trust, Scott State Bank
Program Description:
Banks provide 75% of the loan amount at Wall Street Prime +1% (locked for no more than 3 years) and the City of Sullivan provides 25% of the loan amount at 1% interest for a lower blended rate. Must work directly with any of the three banks. |
Sullivan Historical Downtown Facade Grant

Administrator: City of Sullivan and the Sullivan Chamber & Economic Development
Program Description:
Facade grant applications are available at the Sullivan Chamber & Economic Development for exterior improvements on buildings located in downtown Sullivan, defined as Hamilton Street to the west, Water Street to the south, Madison Street to the East and Jackson Street to the North. Maximum grant is $20,000. Applicants must match 50% of grant funding. |
